We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful oak revolving bookcase that dates from the 1890s in original condition right off the cape of Massachusetts. It is all original. It has a rope edge braided top, three shelf section, pipe base and a four legged platform. The unusual thing about this bookcase is that it has a side mount to put the book on and use it for a lectern. It is not something that shows up very often on a revolving bookcase. It has an old time lamination seam on the top that you can see in the photos. It is a dark oak finish. The size is approximately 21 inches square, 7 inches high to the bottom floor, 13 inches high on the bottom two sections for books and the top section is 5.5 inches high for books. It has all the slats on the sides. It leans a bit right now, but I believe it just needs to be adjusted on the base which we will check out prior to shipping. It is all tiger sawn oak. Shipping estimates starts at $165.00-$185.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
