This wonderful solid oak revolving bookcase dates from the turn of the century. In original condition from the early 1900s, this bookcase came into our shop out of a New York estate. The wooden frame that goes underneath the bottom shelf to keep the pipelined up was missing and we replaced it. It is hidden under the bottom shelf, and you would never know. This bookcase has a bevel rectangular top, four shelves for storage, bevel edge slats on each side and a lift up shelf where you can put a book to read. It is unique and they are tough to find. The overall size is 22 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 52 inches high from the base to the top. The space between the shelf from the bottom up is 11.5 inches, 10 inches, 10 inches and 7.5 inches high at the top. It is all original except for the reproduction frame that is not seen we built in our professional restoration shop. Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
