We are pleased to be offering this exceptional carved mahogany partner's desk in the manner of RJ Horner. Originating from New York, and dating from the late 19th-Early 20th century, this solid mahogany rectangular top with molded edge and rounded corners rests above the conforming case fitted with three aligned drawers above two banks of two short drawers. It is all carved with scrolling vinery and shell form drawer pulls in deep relief raised on massive carved paw feet with scrolled returns. The opposing side is similarly fitted and carved. The case ends profusely carved with scrolling vinery. Surfaces retain original finish and rich undisturbed patina showing minor nicks and dings to age. SIZE: 33” h x 56 ½” l x 36” d. CONDITION: Very good throughout. No damages or repairs noted. In use wear within normal parameters. Writing surface with overall craquelure.
