SOLD Four Piece Jellif Style Parlor Set

We are pleased to be offering today a four piece matching Jenny Lind head possibly John Jeliff style solid black walnut heavily carved parlor set that consists of a triple seat sofa with open arms, two oversized arm chairs and a beautiful side chair.  The set has been gone through and it has been upholstered in a very expensive fabric.  The woodwork is all good.  It depicts  a Jenny Lind face on the crest of all four items.  The finish is the old original walnut stain finish that has darkened over the years.  When they upholstered the set, they did not touch the woodwork.  If you took gojo or something with steel wool, it would really bring the patina out with some elbow grease.  The set is all solid black walnut with multi turn spindles throughout, a beautiful leaf shape carving, a Jenny Lind portrait on all pieces, bulbous turn front legs with the original castors.  The upholstery is in great condition.  The size of the sofa is 64 inches wide, 28 inches deep and 45 inches high.  The arm chairs are 26 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 42 inches high.  The side chair is 22 inches wide, 19 inches deep and 38 inches high.  The height to the seats on all pieces is approximately 19 inches high.  The overall condition is good on all pieces.  It has a dark finish and the upholstery is like new if not brand new.  This set came from an estate and we have done something by going and taking pictures on site without cleaning or polishing any of the pieces.  We are speeding up our listings of goods and we are listing 5 to 10 items everyday with a wide variety of furniture.  Shipping on this four piece set will start at $299 for a driveway delivery.  Please contact us to discuss shipping options prior to purchase to confirm shipping cost for your area and if you are interested we also offer white glove delivery service at an additional charge.
