SOLD Antique Four Piece Victorian Burl Walnut Parlor Suite

We are pleased to be offering today a gorgeous four piece Victorian burl walnut parlor set that consists of a gorgeous burl walnut panel carved loveseat and three matching side chairs of burl walnut carved design.  The fabric has been done over somewhere along the line in an antique crush velour pale green on the loveseat and two of the side chairs.  On the other chair is a pretty fancy brocade raised antique green fabric.  Overall the set is in very nice condition.  Someone paid a lot of money to have this set all reupholstered.  The wood frame is all great, the burl walnut is all good on all the pieces and the set dates from the 1880s.  The size of the love seat is 59 inches across the arms, from the back to the front is 23 inches deep, the height to the top of the carved crest is 41 inches high, the height to the arm is 24 inches high and the height to the seat is approximately 16 inches high.  The sofa itself is in really nice tight condition.  It features fluted legs, incise carvings, raised panel with burl walnut accent trim and is simply stunning.  The back of the sofa has also been reupholstered so that it does not have to go up against a wall and can be left in the open if desired.  The three side chairs are all the same size.  The frames of the chairs have burl walnut trim, burl walnut button on top, fluted legs, carved, hip rest huggers and are tight and sturdy.  The size of the chairs are 19 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 37 inches high to the carved crest and approximately 18 inches high to the seat.  It is a fantastic looking parlor set of solid black walnut.  There is a small crack on the back of one of the chairs that we will detail out before shipping, which has nothing to do with the structure or sturdiness of this set.  Even the original castors are original from the 1880s.  You are getting all four pieces for one money.
