SOLD Victorian Five Piece Parlor Set – Burl Walnut

We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful original finish Victorian carved burl walnut five piece parlor set that consists of a gorgeous sofa and four detail walnut side chairs.  The sofa has been reupholstered in an antique green fabric that is stunning and has two throw pillows.  It has big bulbous leg retaining the original castors, burl walnut panels across the skirt, rosettes on the top of the hand carved crest, open arm with diamond point corners and it is a gorgeous sofa.  The overall size is 64 inches wide, 29 inches deep, 44 inches high to the carved crest, 26 inches high to the arm and 19 inches high to the seat.  The four side chairs are gorgeous with rosettes, carved burl panels and hand carved crest on top.  They are in nice condition.  The upholstery was done around the same time as the couch and show some soil spots that I believe would wash out.  One chair has no castors and another chair has replacement castors.  The chair with no castors has a chuck of wood out of the foot where someone must have pushed hard and we will fix it prior to shipping if you remind us at the time of the sale.  The chairs are tight and sturdy.  They are gorgeous with the burl panels throughout.  The overall size is 20 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 39 inches high to the top of crest and 19 inches high on the seat.  Other than the fabric needing to be steam cleaned, I do not see any rips or tears.  You are getting all five pieces for one money.  Shipping estimates starts at $325.00-$360.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
