SOLD Four Piece Carved Mahogany Parlor Set with Dragons

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful four piece parlor set in dark mahogany with carved dragons on all the backs of all four pieces.  The set consists of a double seat settee, an oversize side chair, an arm chair and a rocking chair.  The settee has two pairs of dragons on the back.  They all have big knuckle arms except for the side chair.  They have multi- dainty turn spindles holding up the arms.  The other thing that is nice is the cross spindle support cross stretcher that are all multi-turn and tapered.  They have fancy cut out front legs, multi-turn back legs and is a nice looking set from the 1880s era.  This set would be gorgeous in the reddish brown stain finish, but this set has the old piano dark mahogany stain finish showing minor nicks and dings here and there.  The overall size of the settee is 46 inches across the outside of the arms, 40 inches across in the inside of the arms, 20 inches deep on the seat, 18 inches high on the seat, 29 inches high on the arms and 41 inches high to the back.  They are all going to be about the same size.  The width of the arm chair is 26 inches across the outside of the arm and 19 inches on the inside of the arm.  The side chair is 18 inches across the seat.  The rocking chair is 25 inches across the arms and 18 inches wide on the inside of the arms.  You are getting the four piece set for one money.  Shipping estimates starts at $385.00-$425.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
