We are pleased to be offering today this set of six French Victorian carved parlor chairs that date from the early 1900s. A fragile set of six chairs that is in overall nice condition considering the age. They have old fabric which is period looking stripe fabric that shows some spots of small stains that I think a shampoo would do wonders. The chairs are heavily carved in a Louis XV style. They have a flared back leg, heavily carved cabriole front leg and a serpentine carved skirt across the face. There is one chair that had a cracked back leg at one time and they had repaired it years ago. We will detail it out a bit and a small crack in one of the backs as well. The chairs are priced very reasonable as it is under $900 for the set. They have a great look. The overall size is 18 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep, 37 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat. You are getting all six for one money.
