We are pleased to be offering today this original finish flame mahogany empire style game table or card table that dates from the Civil War era of the 1860s. It is in great original condition showing minor nicks, dings a few veneer chips. The great thing about game tables is that they are 3 pieces of furniture in one. You can leave it closed up against a wall for a hall table. You can flip the top up to display a leaded lamp or flowers. The third choice is to spin it around for a chess table or small dinette table. It is a great looking table in the original dark reddish brown mahogany stain finish. The overall size is 34 inches long, 17 inches deep and 29 inches high. When open the table is 34 inches square and 28 inches high. It is a great empire card table from the 1850s to 1860s.
