We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful empire mahogany civil war era flip top game table that dates from the 1860s era. It is in wonderful condition with minor wear on top and a tiny slight bow on the right hand side on the flip top. The overall size is 39 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 30 inches high. When the table top is spun around it opens up into a nice game table that is 39 inches square and is 30 inches high. It is a solid mahogany top which is unusual. The original hardware is in place. The base is a French foot platform base with two reverse U’s in the center as a column. It is a real nice table to use as a game table, small dinette table, hall table or a display piece with the top flipped up.
