We are pleased to be offering today this birds eye maple shapely bevel glass swivel mirror ladies multi-drawer cabriole leg vanity that dates from the 1890s in original condition. The shapely swivel bevel glass mirror is all intact and in nice condition. The yolk is birds eye maple with applied dainty carvings on both corners of the arms and a carved crest on the top of the mirror. It has a serpentine front with five drawers: two over two on the ends and one reverse curved drawer in the center. They also have carvings on the multi-bevel edge top and base on the case frame. It has dainty cabriole legs. The overall size is 37 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 30 inches high on the base and the overall height is 59 inches high. The mirror is 35 inches across the support and 29 inches high. The bevel glass mirror is 24 inches wide by 21 inches high. The overall condition is good. There is a dainty piece of carving missing on the yolk and the frame is pulled apart a bit that we will fix prior to shipping. There are some rub marks on the base that aren’t a big deal, but we wanted to mention it. The dove tail drawers have the brass pierce carved knobs. It is a nice time worn finish.
