SOLD Mahogany Ladies Bevel Glass Vanity with Mirror

We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful dainty mahogany serpentine front carved back with wide bevel glass shapely mirror ladies vanity that dates from the 1890s in nice original condition.  It has a couple of small edge has been rubbed underneath the drawer that retains the original hardware and is serpentine front and dove tail.  It has dainty cabriole legs that flow down and are quite shapely.  It has multiple bevel ogee edge across the shapely top that has beautiful mahogany graining.  Above the top is the one inch bevel exposed shapely mirror that is supported in a swivel yolk with delicate carvings.  On the top of the mirror is a floral clam shell carving.  It is in great original finish.  The mirror frame has a slight lamination seam that I believe can be pushed back together.  It has screws to hold on the mirror and usually they have handles on one end, so I assume the original ones were lost.  The mirror swings and swivels like it is supposed to.  It is finished in the original reddish brown mahogany stain finish.  The overall size is 32 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 29 inches high to the base and the overall height is 61 inches.  The size of the bevel looking glass is 17 inches wide by 25 inches high.  The condition of the looking glass is good with minor age spots and a small scratch on the back of the mirror.  The mirror unscrews and comes off for shipping.  Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.  Outside New England it will change, so please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for outside of New England for shipping.
