SOLD Antique Walnut Dining Room Chairs, Massive Set of 6
These Antique Walnut Dining Room Chairs combine both style and comfort. A massive set of six dating from the 1890's, these will impress your guests and elevate your dining room's aesthetic!
Crafted from solid black walnut, these antique dining chairs are a perfect combination of beauty and quality. The six oversized dining chairs are designed for comfort and feature upholstered seats and backs that look fantastic. And while we cannot guarantee it, we believe that a good shampoo will make the fabric look good enough to use, eliminating the need for replacement.
The armchair is a standout piece, featuring a large carved knuckle arm that adds a touch of elegance to the set. The chair fronts are detailed with carved hairy toenail claw feet, and even the faces of the back legs are carved - a true testament to the attention to detail in the crafting of these chairs.
The armchair measures 25 inches across the arms, 19 inches on the inside of the arm, and the seat is 22 inches deep. The top of the back is 45 inches tall, 28 inches to the arm, and 20 inches to the seat. The five side chairs measure 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 42 inches to the top, and 20 inches to the seat.
These chairs are very heavy, which is a great indicator of their quality. They are aesthetically impressive and will elevate any dining room's decor. And while we believe the fabric will clean up well, please plan on reupholster them just in case.
Overall, this Antique Walnut Dining Room Chair set is a rare find and one of the nicest we've seen in our 50+ years in the antique business. Don't miss your chance to own this impressive set - your dining room will thank you!
