We are pleased to be offering today this set of six Victorian Eastlake burl walnut carved dining room chairs that date from the 1870s to 1880s. Someone refinished these a long time ago and reupholstered them in a floral style fabric. These chairs came out of a southern Massachusetts estate. We are showing the chairs with the same table we purchased out of the same home. This listing is for the chairs only, so please contact us to see if the table is still available if you are interested in the pairing. They had a good refinishing job. One chair has a 1.5-inch section of carving missing on the center splat. We could carve out a piece for less than $100.00 if the buyer so desires at the time of the sale. The backs are all curved with incise carvings, burl walnut panels, center splat, multi turn front legs, flared back legs, multi-turn front spindles and the chair skirts are all intact. The chairs are all black walnut. The chairs are 18 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 34 inches high to the chair back and 18 inches high to the seat. You are getting all six for one money. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
