SOLD Antique Dining Room Chairs / Antique Carved Walnut Dining Chairs
This wonderful set of antique carved dining room chairs are in the Jacobian style, are constructed of solid walnut, and date from the 1920s era. This great looking set of antique dining room chairs are not only stout and sturdy, they’re also very stylish.
The set consists of an arm chair and five larger than usual side chairs. They have a one piece flared back leg, a carved panel right in the center of the back, multiturn front legs, and are joined together with a solid H cross stretcher, which helps contribute to the sturdiness and tightness of these chairs.
The finish is dark walnut stain, and remain in great condition. The seats are upholstered in a gold crushed velour. If the colors a little too bright for you, then it’s not hard to change the upholstery.
The arm chair measures 23 inches across the outside of the arms, 20 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 20 inches deep on the seat, 39 inches high to the top of the post, the arm of the chair is 27 inches high, and the seat is 19 inches high. The side chairs measure 19 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 38 inches to the top of the post, approximately 19 inches height off the top of the seat.
