SOLD Antique Victorian Walnut Slant Top Secretary Desk
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful solid black walnut Victorian age slant top desk that dates from the 1870s in beautiful original condition. It is straight out of a home in western Maine. this beautiful desk features a hand carved center crest in the drop down molded lid, hand carved handle on the front of the hand carved dove tail picture frame molded drawer. Look at the carvings on the base! It is the original medium walnut amber color stain. When you open the interior, it exposes multi-drawers and multi-cubby holes. The interior drawers are birds eye maple. When you open the two doors below, it reveals a single shelf interior. The overall size is 33.5 inches wide, 18 inches deep at the drawers, 9 inches deep on the top, 47.5 inches high overall and 29.5 inches high to the writing surface.
