SOLD Antique Victorian Walnut Marble Top Half Commode
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful Victorian hand carved pull racetrack molding solid black walnut white marble top half commode/nightstand dating from the 1880s in original condition. It is unbelievable but this half commode comes with the key, which is highly unusual. The lock even works in the door! It is in the original finish that could use a polish. The overall size is 16 inches square and 30.5 inches high. The top drawer is hand cut dove tail with racetrack molding and a hand carved nut and berry handle. The door on the base has tombstone molding on the panel door. The base has the original platform feet and panel sides. The ogee bevel round corner white and gray grain marble that is in nice condition. Shipping starts at $145 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
