SOLD Antique Victorian Walnut Lady’s Carved Parlor Chair
This beautiful chair is a Victorian black walnut lady’s chair that dates from the 1860s or ‘70s. The cool thing about this chair is that it’s very comfortable, with its straw-filled removable cushion seat that is very nice. The chair has a rose carved crest, some signs of early repairs at the glue joints, which is common in a chair like this, but it is all tight and sturdy. It has a wraparound solid walnut frame, floral carved crest, cabriole legs, original casters, and a serpentine skirt. The size is 22 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 38 inches tall, and 19 inches to the seat, although when you sit on it, it goes down to about 17 inches high.
