This is a hand-carved grape, leaf and nut Victorian ladies chair that dates from the 1870s era. Someone has reupholstered it in a beautiful silver beige brocade fabric that is gorgeous against the old solid black walnut frame, which has aged to a gorgeous patina. The chair has carved cabriole legs, a serpentine front, detailed carved back, with minor nicks and dings, but great upholstery. The overall size is 23 inches across, 22 inches deep, and 39 inches to the back. This would look great in your parlor!
