This elegant Victorian lady’s cylinder front desk is a stunning example of high-end Renaissance Revival design, crafted from rich walnut with burl trim and ornate detailing. Dating from the 1880s, it was purchased from a fine estate in Rhode Island — and it shows in the quality and finish.
The cylinder front opens smoothly to reveal an interior that’s much finer than most: cubbies, small drawers, and a pull-out writing surface, all housed within a beautifully shaped case supported by four fluted legs. The desk is topped with a deeply carved crest and accented with burl walnut across the front and sides for extra elegance.
