SOLD Antique Victorian Burl Walnut Cylinder Ladies Desk
We are pleased to be offering today this Victorian cylinder burl walnut ladies’ desk that dates from the 1880s in really nice condition. This has most likely has been rubbed down and shellacked as it has a nice mellow patina. It has Eastlake lines in the backsplash, turn posts holding up the top shelf that shows burl walnut panel inserts, two dove tail drawers, burl C roll, pull out writing surface, multiple cubby hole drawer interior, large drawer, three small drawers, raised burl walnut panel door, panel sides and a nice patina. The overall size is 36 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 32 inches high to the writing surface and 60 inches high overall. There are the normal nicks, dings and ink stains. The leather insert on the writing surface may want to be replaced. The desk has all the original hardware. Shipping starts at $295 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
