We are pleased to be offering today this solid black walnut hand carved floral design shapely Victorian design sofa with cabriole legs and floral carvings all over. It appears to be in the original green velour fabric that is in outstanding condition. The color is lovely against the patina of the solid black walnut frame. Look at the hand carved crest on all three high points of the back. The carved crests are outstanding and of the highest quality. The cabriole legs are carved and there are two big flowers carved in the center of the cabriole skirt. The sofa dates from the 1880s. The sofa is 51 inches wide between the arms, 23 inches deep on the seat, 18 inches high on the seat, 74 inches wide at the widest point, 39 inches high on the outside corners, 30 inches high to the center carved crest and 24 inches high to the arms. It is a great sofa for a collector of original Victoriana. Shipping starts at $345 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
