SOLD Antique Victorian Renaissance Upholstered Lounge Chair
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful original finish chair that is from the Renaissance era of the 1880s. It is all incise carved, solid walnut frame, crush velour fabric that is all buttoned and pleated in a green color. It is a piece right out of the Victorian era. The condition is amazing for the age. It came out of a home in Washington DC. The overall size is 28 inches wide, 28 inches deep, 16 inches high to the seat, 21 inches high to the arm, and 41 inches high overall. The inside between the arms is 17 inches wide. It is a comfortable chair to read the Declaration of Independence in it, LOL. It has big carved tops, incise carved faces, and multi spindle legs. I believe the fabric is original and is in good usable condition with minor flaws. Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
