We are pleased to be offering today this civil war era solid black walnut Victorian chaise lounge that dates from the 1860s to 1870s. Someone has completely reupholstered it years ago in an antique yellow crush velour fabric that is buttoned and pleated. The frame and finish are all original. The upholstery is in really nice condition. The chaise lounges are a versatile piece of furniture. It is all solid black walnut frame construction. The back of the chaise shows a sign where a bumperette was previously that is the size of a six-ounce cup ring. It isn’t a big deal but wanted to mention it. The overall size is six feet long, 27 inches deep, 26 inches high to the head rest, 28 inches high to the highest point on the back and the height to the seat is 15 inches. It is a really nice piece of Victorian from the Civil War era. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
