SOLD Antique Victorian Oak Lawyers Bankers Office Chair – Classy
We are pleased to be offering today this tiger sawn solid oak Victorian age swivel tilt adjustable height lawyers/bankers office chair dating from the 1890s. It came out of a central Maine home. It was covered years ago in a dark brown Naugahyde. The back is pleated and accented with brass tacks. The old dark oak stain finish with the patina goes wonderfully against the dark brown upholstery. The upholstery is in good usable condition, and I do not see a reason for needing reupholstering. It is a larger than average swivel chair being 25 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 20 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 21 inches deep, 20 inches high to the seat, 29 inches high to the arm and 41 inches high to the chair back. Keep in mind that the chair will adjust 2-3 inches as you desire. It is a heavy-duty chair with cast iron mechanism. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
