SOLD Refinished Victorian Oak Lawyers Banker Office Chair
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful tiger sawn solid oak Victorian age swivel and tilting lawyers/bankers office chair that dates from the 1890s in completely refinished condition. It is a beautiful chair in solid oak with a saddle seat with an extra wide area between the arms that is 20 inches. This chair will hold a larger person. The seat sits upon a four legged base joined together in the center with a cast iron mechanism that allows it to go up and down 3 to 4 inches. It has an adjustment spring underneath for the ease of tilting back. The chair has reproduced wooden wheel replacement castors on the base for ease movement. It has been refinished in a dark oak stain with satin sheen lacquer that will dull down a bit with age. Right now it looks shiny, but the finish is fresh. It has a tiger sawn oak back with curved slats for comfort. The overall size is 20 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 36 inches high to the back, 27 inches high to the arm and 18.5 inches high to the seat. It is a great chair that will come in two pieces, which will require 4 screws to be put back in. Shipping starts at $135 if you are in our normal area and will increase in costs if not.
