SOLD Antique Victorian Marble Top Burl Walnut Bachelor Chest
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful burl walnut triple drawer marble top bachelor chest dating from the 1880s. It is a great looking piece that came out of a western Massachusetts estate. It has a white and gray grain marble top with a round corner bevel edge. It has a triple drawer dove tail base with teardrop ebonized pulls. The only thing that was wrong with them is that we replaced the hardware with three reproduction keyhole escutcheons. It has panel sides, footed base. It is a nice marble top bachelor chest. The overall size is 29 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 29.5 inches high. The marble is in nice condition. There are two holes in the backsplash where it either had a wooden or a marble backsplash at one time. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
