We are pleased to be offering this pre-civil war era Empire carved sofa to you today. Dating from the 1850s in beautiful condition, this item has been reupholstered it in rose-colored crushed velour, and features a button back that complements the carved crest and serpentine front. Featuring a flame mahogany frame with carved forearms, this antique sofa is in wonderful shape. And a real bargain, even before you factor in the cost of the new upholstery. The overall size is 76 inches wide, 28 inches deep, 28 inches high to the arm, 17 inches high to the seat and 38 inches high to the back. It is a great sofa in wonderful condition. Shipping starts at $375 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
