SOLD Antique Sofa, Antique Victorian Walnut Carved Dainty Sofa
We are pleased to be offering this beautiful Victorian solid black walnut hand carved cabriole leg sofa to you today. Dating from the 1870s, this piece appears to retain the original finish. The upholstery of course has been changed somewhere along the line; it has a big water stain on the seat as you can see in the photo. We are not sure if it will shampoo out or not; there are no rips or tears in the upholstery, just stains. The frame itself is all solid black walnut with hand carved roses on top, with cabriole legs and carved forearms. The solid walnut frame wraps all the way around and is in good condition. The sofa is 59 inches wide, 54 inches wide between the arms, 28 inches high to the arms, 17 inches high to the seat and 41 inches high to the back. Other than the factory seams, where the frame comes together, that have come apart a bit; it appears in great shape. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
