SOLD Antique Sofa, Antique Victorian Carved Cameo Back Sofa
We are pleased to be offering this little Victorian Cameo-back Sofa to you today. Dating from 1870s, this solid black walnut, cabriole leg sofa is in wonderful condition. It looks like the wooden frame is all original, but they stripped the wood down to the original patina when it was reupholstered approximately 30 years ago. The reupholstery has held up well, and doesn’t appear to have any stains, rips, or tears. The wooden frame has a hand carved crest on top and wraps down into a cabriole leg and serpentine front skirt. It has the original porcelain castors, and would look great in any room. The overall size is 60 inches wide, 48 inches wide across the seat, 28 inches deep, 39 inches high to the back and 17 inches high to the seat. This is a great sofa. Shipping starts at $375 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
