These antique dining room chairs in solid walnut are not only beautiful, but also tell a story. Each chair-back features a different scene carved into the wood, depicting life in the Victorian era. We like to call these "story telling" chairs because they tell you a story of life in the late 19th century, while bringing history to life in your home. Dating back to the 1890s Victorian era, these chairs feature dainty spindle stick-and-ball galleries and carved details all over, and are a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. The crushed velour fabric is in good overall condition, adding a touch of luxury and comfort to your dining experience.

While there are a couple of minor imperfections, including a few missing spindles and some nicks and dings that come with age, these chairs are in overall great condition for their age. One of the bottom cross stretchers is splintered and we will correct it before shipping. There are also a couple of rub marks here and there, one of the chairs is missing a small trim piece, there are a couple of rough pieces on one of the cross stretchers, and there are a couple of splits on the seat bottoms, but overall, these chairs remain in really great condition for their age. None of these imperfections detract from their beauty or functionality, but we like to mention them for clarity.
