SOLD Antique Set of 6 Oak Dining Chairs by R.J. Horner

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of solid tiger sawn oak (I mean 100% solid tiger sawn oak) dining chairs that consists of four beautiful side chairs and two arm chairs.  They are stout, sturdy and have the label stating that they were made by the Flint and R.J. Horner Company out of New York back at the turn of the century.  The chairs match a table that came out of the same estate and we are listing separately.  The chairs and the table have both been stripped and refinished to match perfectly. The chairs have been stripped, tightened up, hand sanded, stained a beautiful oak color, multiple coats of sanding sealer with sanding in between and multiple coats of moisture resistant Sherwin Williams lacquer for years of carefree use.  The arm chairs are 25 inches across the arms, 22 inches across the seat, 19 inches deep, 40.5 inches high to the back, 27 inches high to the arm and 18 inches high to the seat.  The four side chairs are 19 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 39 inches high to the back and 18 inches high to the seat.  I can not stress how beautiful these chairs came out after being professionally refinished.
