SOLD Antique Set of 6 Mahogany Ball and Claw Dining Room Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this set of six solid mahogany Chippendale dining chairs dating from the 1890s to 1910s. They are in the original finish and even the upholstery. The chairs show the normal wear and tear, nicks, dings, and minute scratches. They are solid mahogany construction, detail cutout center splat, tall delicate ball and claw cabriole leg, wraparound serpentine front skirt and insert seats with original fabric. The seats can easily be replaced as they are slip seats. We offer to reupholster the seats for the buyer, with their supplied cost of fabric, for an additional cost. The chairs would polish up well for many years of use. There is a corner block missing on one of the chairs that we will replace as it is a common repair. The overall size is 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat. This set of chairs once buffed and polished would likely disappear. You are getting all six chairs for money. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
