This set of 6 solid mahogany dining room chairs are in the Chippendale style, with ball and claw feet. Dating from the 1890s to 1900s, this antique Dining Room chair set consist of six solid side chairs. The center splat is solid mahogany. They have Chippendale style cut out back, flared back leg, cabriole style ball and claw front leg, solid H cross stretcher and even the skirts around the seats are solid mahogany. When I flipped one of the chairs over, I see they were made and sold by the Paine Furniture Company, which explains why they are so well built and quality. The chairs are finished in the old dark reddish brown mahogany stain finish. The only thing wrong with these is that the seats have been used and they will need to be reupholstered. They are easy to reupholster as they pop out to be filled with padding, new fabric attached with a staple gun, and then they slide back in. The overall size of the chairs is 19 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair crest and 19 inches high to the seat. You are getting all six for one money.
