This wonderful rocker was refinished by the previous owner, and dates from the turn of the century. Featuring an extra tall triple press back, this antique rocking chair is from the early 1900s. It has been refinished and re-caned by the previous owner. This beautiful antique rocking chair was most likely a Larkin item. It is finished in a dark oak stain and the finish has held up nicely over the years. The cane is all good. The back is curved and has a triple section, which is unusual for a rocking chair. It has curved arms that are supported with four multi-turn spindles and a large turn spindle post on both sides. It has turned front legs and cross stretchers for strength. The overall size is 25 inches wide, 19 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 18.5 inches deep on the seat, 41 inches high as it rests and 17.5 inches high to the seat.
