SOLD Antique Period Empire Bookcase Cabinet – Unusual
We are pleased to be offering today this unbelievably stunning and condition for the age period empire with the prettiest flame mahogany veneer front and ribbon molding bookcase that I have seen in a long time. I have never seen this model in my over 50 years in the business. It has a flame mahogany veneer molded top, flame mahogany veneer face, shapely cutout scallop doors that appear to have the original glass, original key, crown molding with ribbon accent on the panel door in the base that opens downward to reveal a shelf interior. This piece does not appear to have been used as I do not see any nicks, dings, or scratches. I can’t believe this dates from the 1860s to 1870s and is in this wonderful condition. It is a mind-blowing period piece. The overall size is 41 inches wide, 17 inches deep on the base cabinet, 11 inches deep on the bookcase top, 29 inches high on the base cabinet and the overall height is 82 inches high. The size of the dropdown door is 19 inches high and 40 inches wide. If you are looking for minty piece of flame mahogany empire that is a hard-to-find bookcase, then this would be the piece. Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
