SOLD Antique Nightstand, Antique Victorian Marble Top Renaissance Half Commode Nightstand
We are pleased to be offering this outstanding oversized burl walnut Renaissance half-commode nightstand with marble top. Dating from the 1880s, this piece is beautiful in its original condition with just a few minor issues. Featuring an ogee bevel edge cookie corner marble, the marble was cracked on the left-hand side as shown in the photos, is missing the little circle molding on the left-hand side, and the right-hand side of the drawer has a small piece of molding missing -- we will detail out the marble and replace the missing molding in our restoration shop prior to shipping. This nightstand has fluted columns, burl panels, carved columns, cookie corner base and it is a very high-end quality, as you can see in the photos. If this stand didn’t have the aforementioned blemishes, it would easily sell for over $1,400. The overall size is 23 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 32 inches high. The bottom door has a single shelf interior that is all intact. Shipping starts at $165 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
