SOLD Antique Victorian Marble Top Half Commode/Nightstand
We are pleased to be offering today one of the nicest original finish Victorian carved racetrack molded white and gray grained marble top half commode that dates from the 1860s era in beautiful original condition. It came right out of a home in Vermont. It is basically in untouched condition. Other than a castor falling out when we picked it up, it is all nice original. Look at the condition of the marble with the white and gray grain that I am sure came from the Vermont/New Hampshire area where they mine a lot of marble. The drawer has a wonderful detail acorn carved pull in the center of the oval racetrack molding on the hand cut dove tail drawer. The door when opened has a single shelf interior. The cabinet has an applied molded base with the original castors and feet all intact. The overall size is 18 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep and 32 inches high.
