This antique etagere shelf features its original finish, in solid black walnut, with marble top. Dating from the 1870s Victorian era, this antique shelf came right out of a Maine home, and remains in original condition. It has some minor chips on one of the post turnings that we had professionally restored. This antique etagere has a beautiful turtle top ogee bevel edge white and gray grain marble top that follows the shape of the demi lune style base. It has multiple shapely cut out shelf, cut out back and a hand cut carved crest. The mirror is in wonderful condition. I want to say the mirror was replaced as it is in great condition, but there are a few age markings. It is finished in a dark walnut stain. It has the normal nicks dings. The overall size is 43 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 11 inches high to the bottom shelf, 32 inches high to the top of the marble and 81 inches high overall. From the marble to the first set of shelves is 24 inches. The second set is 27 inches high from the marble. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
