This antique tiger-sawn oak desk features carved handle pulls and dates from the 1890s. This desk has been reworked, meaning, it has been modified to be wider. You can tell there’s an addition on the center drawer, and in the back modesty panel. It’s all good and stuff and it all works, and most people would probably never know what they were looking at if we didn’t tell you, but it’s still a great piece, and at a great price.
There are 4 carved drawers and a pullout tray on one side, a large center drawer, and two pull out drawers on the right hand side with a file cabinet drawer on the bottom that looks like two drawers and a pullout tray.
Raised panels all the way around, and the top is tiger-sawn oak. The finish is worn off on the front, but overall you’re buying a nice oak desk that will serve your purpose nicely.
Take a look at all the pictures, they’ll tell you more than I can. It measures 60 inches wide, 34 inches deep, and the height is 31 inches. The cubby where your legs go measures 29 inches wide, and 25 inches high.
