SOLD Antique Chinese Wool Rug, 12 foot x 16 foot!!

We are offering a beautiful and gorgeous colorful Chinese floral style rug that probably dates from the last 20 to 40 years that came right out of a local estate. It’s a very heavy rug, with an awesome cut pile. It’s 100-percent wool, with fringe on both ends, and many different rectangular designs, beginning with a dark and light blue outside border against a beige 5-inch border. It then has two blue lines and a colorful pattern with musical instruments, leaves, flowers and other designs, and all sorts of vivid colors. It then has a rectangular border with a circular design, in which light blue and dark blue, tan and beige go up against an antique orange, then double blue lines and a beige background and center medallion. The center medallion has four embossed dark brown border medallions and a beautiful multi-color floral design in the center draped with white carnations and leaves on both sides. On all four corners are beautiful bold colorful designs. The rug is in outstanding condition, with only a couple of footprints on it that look like they could be professionally cleaned, they are very faint and you might not even notice them. It came out of a very nice home here in Waterville, Maine, that was pet free, and there are no rips or odors at all. This rug weighs a ton, so it is first-floor delivery only.
