These antique dining room chairs consist of a rare set of 12 original matching tiger sawn oak dining chairs. These antique chairs date from the 1890s, and are resplendent in their beautiful original condition. They came right out of a home on the coast of Maine; this set has two knuckle arm armchairs and ten side chairs. They have been professionally reupholstered in a durable fabric, and it was well-done. The upholstery color blends well with the chair’s patina. The backs are taller than normal, and these antique dining chairs are in a queen anne style with a claw foot cabriole leg. They have steamed oak cross stretcher, and these chairs came out of the same home as a carved banquet table we have just listed separately. The size of the armchairs is 23 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 21 inches high to the seat, 28 inches high to the arms, and 42 inches high to the chair back. The side chairs are 19 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 20 inches high to the seat and 40 inches high to the chair back. It will be a long time before you find a factory set of 12 in original condition. These chairs do show nicks and dings from normal use. They are in outstanding original condition. You are getting all 12 chairs for one money.
