We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful original finish acanthus carved double pillar post double door bookcase in the original finish dating from the 1890s. It comes with three adjustable shelves. It is tiger sawn oak all over. The posts are beautiful with acanthus carvings in two sections with fluted and routed in other sections. It terminates with a detailed claw foot. It has heavy crown molding on the top with acanthus carving on the corner blocks. It does not come with a key. The overall size is 52 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 57 inches high. The shelves are approximately 11 inches deep and are fully adjustable. Other than a little loose veneer on the top of the crown, that we will detail out prior shipping, the condition is wonderful. Shipping starts at $375 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
