This bold and beautifully carved Victorian partners library table is done in the Horner style and dates to the 1890s. Crafted in mahogany, it features fierce lion head carvings, shapely ball and claw feet, and drawers on both sides — making it a true partner’s desk or library table.
Purchased directly from a local estate, this piece has impressive presence and exceptional detail. The shapely top is framed with ornate carved molding, and the center drawer is large and deeply carved. All four corners feature highly stylized lion/north wind faces.
The finish was redone by a previous owner years ago and has held up very well. It’s a striking and versatile piece that works beautifully in a library, office, or statement foyer.
