SOLD Antique Victorian Walnut Carved Library Table with Heads
We are pleased to be offering a piece that you do not see very often which is a solid black walnut heavily carved library table with lion heads on all four corners of the legs and across the front of the dove tail drawer. It has carvings all around the skirt, legs and rectangular top. The pull-out drawer is dove tail. It dates from the 1880s in the original old finish. It shows minor nicks and dings. There is a faint seam that you can see in the photos, but the table is structurally sound. The overall size is 46 inches long, 29 inches deep and 29 inches high. The four legs are massive bulbous turn posts that matches the cross stretcher in the center that joins all four legs together. It is a great looking table in a dark finish that shows minor nicks and dings. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
