SOLD Antique Victorian Burl Walnut Carved Library Writing Desk
We are pleased to be offering this beautiful original finish burl walnut Victorian incise carving heavy duty quality single drawer library table / writing desk that dates from the 1880s in original condition. It has burl walnut trim all along the picture frame top, wide ogee bevel edge, burl walnut trim on the outside legs, mushroom center finial and a renaissance super carved arch. The ends are great with buttons, rosettes, carving, and burl walnut edges. It even has a large center that is divided for ease of organization. It also comes with a key. It has one small veneer damage on the back side that has lifted a bit and we will detail out before shipping. The overall size is 43 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 29 inches high. The walnut and burl trim around the original black felt inset top is 2.5 inches all the way around. It is a fantastic table that is heavy and high quality. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
