SOLD Antique File Cabinet, Oak Four Drawer Office Furniture
This antique four-drawer file cabinet is by the Library Bureau of Sole Makers, a company well known for their high-quality office furniture. The four drawers retain its original handles, and it appears as though someone stripped or refinished this previously as the index card holders and the rod knobs are not in place. We could probably find four index card markers for the drawers if the buyer so desires. Other than a small chip by the bottom drawer, it is in nice condition, and dates from the 1900s. The overall size is 17.5 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 52 inches high. The drawers on the outside are 14 inches wide. The inside of the drawers are 12 inches wide on the inside, 24 inches deep and 10.25 inches high. Most people put metal hanging racks inside to hang swinging folders on; this is a standard size file cabinet.
