SOLD Antique Empire Dining Chairs, Set of 6 in Mahogany – Twin Arms
These antique dining chairs are a set of 6 matching in the Empire style. These antique dining chairs date from the 1920s, and consist of four side chairs and two master or armchairs. They are mahogany construction and are of the typical style from the third period Empire, featuring a saber style front leg, flared back leg, and rolled skirt on the seat. The seats just pop in for easy cleaning or reupholstering. The fabric is in really nice condition with a funky looking western theme. The arms have the scroll Empire jelly arms and the splat in the back is all solid mahogany. The overall size of the armchairs is 21 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 19 inches high to the seat, 27.5 inches high to the arm and 36 inches high overall. The side chairs are 18 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 19 inches high to the seat and 35 inches high to the back. The chairs are all tight and sturdy, with the normal nicks and dings. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
