SOLD Antique Set of 6 Flame Mahogany Empire Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of 6 matching flame mahogany empire style stout and sturdy dining chairs that date from the 1880s. At first I thought they were from the 1840’s, but they are a bit newer than that. They are in great shape. They are the Cadillac of the chairs. They are very stylish and are built for a larger a person than the normal chairs. They have a scrolled back that angles at a slant, fancy cut out center splat, flared back legs, rolled front flame mahogany skirt and all solid mahogany construction. You can see where there were a couple of repairs over the years, but they are stout and sturdy. They have an antique green fabric on them as they have some stains and spots. They are easy to replace by slipping the fabric over them and stapling them in. The overall size is 18.5 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 37 inches high and 18 inches high to the seat. You are getting all six in the reddish brown finish for one money. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
