SOLD Antique Set of 5 Flame Mahogany Period Empire Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of 5 flame mahogany or ribbon back mahogany period empire chairs that date from the Civil War era of the 1850s to 1860s. These chairs were redone approximately 10 years ago by us and put into a customer’s home. He cracked the back on one and has traded them in for a set of Chippendale chairs. They have a dark reddish brown stain finish and they had a very nice fabric upholstered on them. The chairs were all gone through previously but now have a couple of nicks and dings here and there and there is a crack on the back that we will fix up. A little bit of polish will cover up all the nicks and dings. The chairs are 17 inches by 17 inches on the seats, 33 inches high and 18 inches high to the seat.
